Haha, I never think of e-mail as social network due to it's poor socialization nature. Rather it's like an online storage medium which the professional known as cloud storage. For me, a social network should provide the service to access others' place(profile). E-mail is private, but social network is open. For this point, I really doubt that we should recognize e-mail as one of the social network.
